"Generations" is a worked commissioned by J. M. Miller of San Jose, California. The diverse collection of elements represented in this work include hand-crafted lace from her grandmother, the baptismal cap her mother wore, the jewelry she wore when sent home from the hospital, and a charm of her son at his birth. These pieces had lived separately in bottom drawers and jewelry boxes through the years and numerous family moves - too important to lose yet never coming together to tell a single story.
Ms. Miller contacted Once Again Design, discussed the work she had in mind, and gave us a free hand to imagine and guide the project, asking only that the final work be compact and suitable to the smaller spaces of apartment living. Her first reaction when receiving the finished work was "This is the best gift I have ever given myself!"
So, what can we create for you? The heirloom work you see here is only one example. MLGodwin and her team focus on client satisfaction and recognize the deeply personal work that Archival Art is. We work to deserve the trust you give, and we know we are up to the task.
